I have owned and gigged quite a few basses in 30 years of playing bass and I think Roscoe makes the easiest playing bass with the best sounding "B" string Period. I consider mine as Playable Art. All of this and they are Handcrafted in the USA. If you have never played a Roscoe, you owe to yourselft to try one before you buy your next bass! Clint Owens

I've been playing bass around 35 years and I've been playing Roscoe basses since 1995. I've probably owned just about every brand of quality bass made and IMO there's just nothing out there that sounds, plays and looks as nice as a Roscoe! Awesome customer service and Keith, Gard & the Roscoe team are just great to work with too! Joe Meyer |

Keith - I am stunned by the quality and attention to detail. A functional and elegant work of art. All the visual elements work in perfect harmony. It has PRESENCE - as if a glamorous 50's blonde Hollywood starlet has walked into the room and winked at you. You can't help but look at it - it commands your attention! The feel of the neck is sublime. Within minutes of playing, I've tuned-in to it - even without having played a 6 regularly. It plays so easily you can just zip around all over the board with minimal contact pressure needing to be applied. It is just so responsive to your playing. The next thing was to plug the bass in. Going into Oz's home studio we ran the bass direct through the desk. With the controls set flat on the bass I began to play around through scales, walking lines etc. Gorgeous deep clean tone coming out of the monitors and very responsive to fingering. It sounds fabulous Next thing was to check out the character of each pickup. The neck pickup alone gives great warm Precision-esque bite - quite beautiful. The bridge gives more of a Jazz like pokiness to the midrange. Adjusting the controls further reveals as wide a range of subtle tones that a player could hope for. Awesome. we just sat there with HUGE grins. Playing along to a backing track the bass OWNED it." Paul Drew and his buddy Jasper, UK |

I got my Roscoe Century V almost a couple of years ago. Teaching, recording, gigging... Blues, Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Latin, Rock, Country, what ever style of music I have to play I use my Roscoe. I'm very satisfied of this instrument, one of the best neck around and the fret job is remarkable, the action can be sooo low! Mo' |

I've played bass for 16 years. For many of those years I played only 4-string basses because I couldn't find a 5-string bass that had a B string worth playing. It's a shame I didn't try a Roscoe earlier. Jacob Danks |

I have fretted and fretless SK3006. If I wasn't playing them all the time both these basses could be hung on the wall as pieces of art. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is second to none. As for tone the basses both sound fantastic. I'm primarily a fingerstyle player these days and both basses are extremely clear and articulate. I'm very glad I found these two basses. I really think my GAS is cured. Oh wait, I need and SKB3006 with Norstrands and an Audere. Cheers and thanks for two great basses. Steve Clark |
