Roscoe builds 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 string electric bass guitars entirely by hand and entirely in our own factory. Unlike many builders of fine handmade instruments, none of our manufacturing is sent out. Even our fine high-gloss and hand rubbed oil finishes are applied by us. Raw lumber comes in and finished instruments go out.
Roscoe Basses are available in four styles.
The LG Model is a small hand-carved body offered for 4, 5, and 6 string basses.
The SKB Model is a larger hand-carved body for 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 string basses.
The Century Signature Model with a larger hand carved body, extended upper horn, a wedge neck and is available in 4, 5, 6, and 7 string models.
The Century Standard Model (Our New Mid-level bass) with a larger, flat body with extended upper horn available in 4, 5 and 6 string models.
Seven string basses can be strung either high F or low F#. Eight string basses can be strung with either low B / high Bb or low F# / high F.
